Austin State University, I am conducting a sequential mixed methods study on the Texas superintendent search process, exploring the perspectives of search consultants and leveraging Human Capital Theory to analyze candidate selection trends. My research reflects my dedication to improving leadership selection processes to positively impact district outcomes.Throughout my career, I have prioritized strategies for instructional improvement by modeling effective teaching practices in professional development sessions, ensuring alignment with high instructional standards. I have led the implementation of strategic scheduling to maximize instructional time and emphasized the importance of intentional small-group instruction to meet diverse student needs. I am also passionate about integrating purposeful technology instruction, equipping both students and teachers with the skills to leverage digital tools for enhanced learning outcomes.
