I help individuals and couples live their best fully functional, vibrant lives. In my practice, I really enjoy working with ministry and non-profit leaders and volunteers. I help with issues of adjustment, anxiety, burnout, depression, codependency, co-occurring disorders, eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating), body image, self-destructive behaviors, marital/relationship concerns, trauma, and narcissistic abuse recovery. My approach to counseling is holistic, addressing biological, psychological, social, emotional, physiological, and spiritual components. Healing is often multi-faceted so we need to be as thorough as possible, addressing each person as distinctly and completely as possible.I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (empirically based trauma resolution), which is tremendously helpful for many types of trauma . As the Marketing and Special Events/Project Coordinator for the Tourism Department of the Town of Surfside I conducted numerous administrative tasks such as processing invoices/creating check requests, creating/maintaining spreadsheets, creating presentations and promotional materials, overseeing the maintenance of the town and visitor websites, scheduling, planning and coordinating special events, greeting guests, providing information, and numerous other tasks.
