Talent Management Specialist
Current• Build a diverse candidate pool, proactively source, identify and recruit candidates via social media, job boards, internet sourcing, networking, employee referrals, and other technical or creative methods.• Collaborate with Chief People Officer and Director, People Services to create and implement recruitment strategies.• Work with hiring managers; lead talent acquisition process to hit hiring targets.• Conduct phone and in-person interviews, screenings, and schedule second step interviews with qualified candidates. • Manage the talent acquisition process, act as a candidate advocate, and utilize the Applicant Tracking System to efficiently process and track candidates.• Finalize the hiring process by checking references, transcripts and completing background checks on both the state and federal levels.• Coordinate job fairs and events in order to build relationships with higher education career centers and other community networks.• Propose and assist with implementing ongoing recruitment improvement efforts.• Create and lead all onboarding sessions for new staff.
