Throughout my career I have had the pleasure of serving Kindergarden-12th grade students which has given me a deep understanding of the developmental stages that our students navigate through. I have worked closely with both the general and special education populations, and I consider myself a passionate student advocate when it comes to ensuring all students are able to reach the curriculum equally. I have worked at sites in different socio-economical areas which has built a strong awareness of what it means to serve a diverse population. This includes encompassing an open mindset with sensitivity and compassion towards others. I thrive in a collaborative setting and I am not afraid to spend the time needed to ensure a successful program and positive school climate. I have extensive individual and group counseling experience and I highly value the use of data in my practice. In addition, I enjoy facilitating extracurricular activities, and have previously developed and coached a cheerleading program which lead to a first place award in the programs first year!
