I support first, second and at times third-year teachers while on an initial license. I support teachers through mentoring and induction to fulfill state requirements to obtain a standard license. Along with other district coaches I provide professional learning opportunities through "Mentor Modules" to new teachers on topics they choose to help boost.

Support teachers with researched-based instructional strategies, behavior strategies, co-teaching models, and differentiated strategies to meet the needs of all students within a classroom setting. Review progress monitoring procedures with teachers to ensure I.E.P.s are used to design specialized instruction along with, when it is necessary, to change.

Supported special education teachers with ensuring IEP compliance when writing and providing instruction to students with an IEP. Provided administrators support with understanding policies and procedures for students receiving special education services. Determined eligibility for special education services for students K-8.

Provided Instruction to students with I.E.P.s in reading, writing, math, and social studies. Wrote I. E.P.s, conducted I.E.P. meetings on each student at least annually. Supported students within general education classes as well as supported and collaborated with general education teachers in understanding different student's accommodations and/or.
