I work hand in hand with the VP of Business Development and VP of Engineering to provide leadership to the 40+ hard working employees of GetUWired, Inc. I am ultimately responsible for meeting the needs of our employees, customers, communities, and the law. I plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance as well as participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner. I develop then implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation. Over the years I have established credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.

I am no stranger to the VP of Operations role. As a leader in a small company for the last six years it has been a constant requirement for me to keep my eye on Operations and ensure that the company was moving at a pace that was both profitable and sustainable. As GetUWired has exploded in growth I have had the opportunity to train my replacements in the Project Management Department and solely focus on the Business Operations. My duties include monitoring P&L statements, reducing overages and costs, overseeing employees and their consistent training, continuous development of our internship program, managing the human resource and payroll positions and nurturing our business development.

As Senior Project Manager I oversee all projects at GetUWired as well as the Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Content Writing Departments. I ensure client satisfaction by keeping an open line of communication. I plan all Project Management Meetings, client deadlines and assign projects to engineering teams based on skill sets and milestones.

As the Senior Project Manager at GetUWired I am responsible for all communications between our clients and engineering team. I schedule projects, prepare scope documents and conduct sprint meetings. It is my responsibilty to see each project from the Project Kick-off to go-live. We use a management process called AGILE Management. Part of my job is ensuring that everyone is following that process.

I began at the marriott as a Front Desk Clerk. Within 6 months I was promoted to the Front Desk Supervisor. I joined a task-force team which enabled me to go to properties in need and offer training to raise customer service scores. After two years at the front desk I was promoted to executive assistant to the general manager. In this position I conducted all orientations, planned awards ceremonies, and did general secretarial work.

As a front office supervisor I was responsible for managing customer and employee relations. Customer Service was my expertise. I helped developed several processes that lead to an increase in our guest satisfaction scores.
