I partner with the director of a federally-backed care program to streamline volunteer management operations, overseeing the activities of 63 senior volunteers to ensure program success. As a key liaison between leadership teams, coordinators, care partners, and volunteers, I have motivated the enthusiastic participation of diverse groups while maintaining strict compliance requirements. Most recently I have overseen the integration of COVID-19 safety measures into existing training curriculum, conducting virtual onboarding sessions on a bi-weekly basis. Additional communications channels include the program’s bi-monthly newsletter and in-service training featuring key guest speakers.Key Projects:• Partnered with Visiting Nurse Association to integrate meal delivery service into program offerings, successfully delivering 300 meals since January 2022.• Collaborated with Program Director to build and implement forecasting process, identifying actionable strategies to maximize budget spending, increase volunteer stipend pay, and improve compliance with federal spending requirements.

On the operations side, I upheld strict medicare compliance regulations while revising the department’s organizational systems, creating custom video content and program curriculum to boost efficiency. Key Projects:• Engaged veteran patients through specialized initiatives including the Veteran to Veteran volunteer program and the JROTC student volunteer program.• Secured certification from the We Honor Veterans program, guiding Good Shepard Hospice to become the first in Dallas to earn the highest level of compliance.
