With 20 years of dedicated leadership directing non-profit organizations and collegiate athletics, I am passionate about leveraging my strategic vision and operational expertise to drive meaningful impact in the non-profit sector.MY PROFESSIONAL JOURNEYI began my career as an associate AD / head volleyball coach where I gained solid experience in program development and team leadership. Over the years, I progressed to the role of Athletic Director, overseeing 23 programs with 46 full-time coaches and 500+ student-athletes. During my tenure, I spearheaded initiatives that enhanced student-athlete welfare, balanced budgets, promoted diversity and inclusion, and upheld Title IX.Driven by a desire to make a broader impact beyond athletics, I had the opportunity to lead Girls on the Run as Executive Director, applying my strategic business acumen to lead initiatives that empowered girls and fostered sustainable organizational growth. My experience in building partnerships, securing funding, and increasing community presence drove organizational success and achieved powerful outcomes.Unexpectedly, I ended my role as the ED in order to care for my child who suffered a spinal cord injury. This experience reinforced my dedication to family and community, while also reaffirming my resilience and adaptability in managing unexpected life events. Now, having successfully navigated this period and with my child on a positive path, I am eager to re-enter the workforce and contribute my skills and leadership to a mission-driven organization. You see, I’ve always advocated for the underserved, and it is without a doubt that navigating unforeseen circumstances has truly fortified this as one of my core leadership strengths.WHAT I BRING TO THE TABLEI am dedicated to upholding the values of integrity, transparency, and accountability in all facets oforganizational management. With an athletic background, I bring a results-oriented mindset to non-profitleadership, ensuring that every initiative aligns with the organization’s mission and maximizes its potential for success.I have championed Title IX and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives that identify opportunities fororganizations to be visionary thinkers and leaders in providing equitable experiences for all participants.Equally important, I am simply driven to help people.LET’S CONNECTI am excited about the opportunity to contribute my leadership skills and passion for the community to aforward-thinking organization.
