ISOTIS (Inclusive Education and Social Support to Tackle Inequalities in Society), funded by the EU Horizon2020 framework. Responsibilities:• An interview study across 11 European countries to improve the education and health care system, practices and policy for migrant families. Responsible for data-collection (quantitative, qualitative) and participated in monthly meetings with country partners. • Provided positive guidance to the team (e.g. newsletters with best practices) and established a coherent team of interviewers. Recruited, trained and prepared 15 bilingual research assistants to conduct interviews.• Created partnerships with more than 85 (pre-)schools and social organizations. Acquired more than 500 participants. • Qualitative data analysis with software package Nvivo. Descriptive and comparative analyses with SPSS. • Conducted an inventory of best practices of inclusive education and case-study of the Peaceable school (Vreedzame School). Interviewed stakeholders and share best practices to improve policy development.

Commissioned by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. • Measured and reported on the process quality of formal childcare (home-based day care, center-based day care, preschools, and after-school care) with internationally recognized instruments (CLASS, ITERS-R, ECERS-R) in over 50 settings. • Trained other researchers to measure the process quality of formal childcare.
