Primary Responsibilities:• Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors market available candidates; and writes and places advertisements. • Handles employment application intake.• Maintains all applicant documentation.• Reviews applications and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job-related requirements. • Processes job requisitions.• Assists and coordinates with hiring manager(s) to determine best recruiting process for position(s).• Acts as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies.• Assists in communication of important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).• Coordinates background checks.• Schedules and conducts new employee orientation. • Completes weekly report on employment activity. • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates. • Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates. • Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS). • Maintains company organization charts. • Assists in updating, monitoring and maintaining eligible salary adjustments/increases • Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.• Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance and labor law posters• Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems• Maintains current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws. • Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures. • Assists with AAP reporting. • Assists the manager with HR projects
