My focus is to grow and build on the incredible work this team has accomplished since opening in 1995. As Senior Event Marketing Manager, I showcased the destination to key meeting planners and partners by planning and executing successful events for the sales, services and partnership teams.• Provided direction to the events team while collaborating with the leadership team to develop and program more than 45 events annually • Led local organizing committees for large conferences including Meeting Professionals International, Routes Americas and US Conference of Mayors• Produced the ROSE Awards program and gala honoring front line members of the hospitality industry which included 75 honorees and 600 attendees • Produced annual State of Tourism event honoring key Indianapolis individuals including Peyton Manning and David Letterman• Developed budgets for each event ranging from $8,000 to $1.5 million and managed throughout event process• Managed venue selection, RFP process and negotiations with vendors for rentals, catering and entertainment • Coordinated guest travel to events including air and ground transportation• Managed registration, booth rental, logistics, marketing messages and invitations for more than 20 tradeshows annually

I was honored to be one of 34 paid, full time staff members of the 2012 Super Bowl Host Committee. In this role, I managed external relationships with community partners and 2012 Super Bowl special events including the venue selection process for over 130 NFL official events, sanctioned events and donor events. I also managed Host Committee sponsored events including:Annual Media Party (Indianapolis Motor Speedway, 4,000 media & guests in attendance, budget of $515,000.00)Super Bowl Soiree (Lucas Estates, 1,200 members of our donor family)In this role, I directly managed multiple committees and interns. I demonstrated success in managing the venue selection process for over 130 NFL Official, Sanctioned and Unsanctioned events and developed relationships with over 75 venues regarding their role in the venue selection process. I was the liaison between NFL sponsor’s event planners and the resources needed in the city during the week of the game. I developed rental rates and sales information for venues that the Host Committee directly managed. I was also responsible for maintaining the master calendar for all Super Bowl related events which exceeded 400 events. We also partnered with donor services team and the donor benefits program for 130 Indianapolis donorsI was a proud member of the Speakers Bureau.

As House Manager, I managed front of house concert production elements and ensured proper operation of the facility. I contracted with and supervised contractors and vendors; including catering teams, valet service, concert security, concert decoration vendors, artist merchandise sales and house doctors. For each concert or event, I selected, trained, scheduled and supervised part-time usher staff and event supervisors (60 people). Each month, I represented the venue at Event Advisory Board meetings to collaborate with city officials and the other events in the city.

Hired to direct a film screening at Hilbert Circle Theatre as a part of clients campaign launch. Creation of press conference on Monument Circle and VIP reception at Columbia Club to support event. Liaison between event and both in-house marketing team and agency for event and campaign promotions. Dig IN, A Taste of Indiana at White River State Park on August 29, 2010Indiana State Department of Agriculture, Indianapolis, INDeveloped and managed event operations plan for chefs, producers, beer and wine distributors participating in event. Scheduled entertainers and educational sessions, developed operations plan for outdoor staging. Coordinated social media effort to promote event and general awareness of clients initiatives.

• Managed all planning and execution of Drum Corps International’s 100 live stadium events including annual World Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium, White River State Park and Indiana Convention Center• Served as central command officer for executing all day-of-event operations with staff and volunteers• Cultivated professional and partner relationships between company staff and Indianapolis leaders preceding and during the relocation of office headquarters from Chicago area to Indianapolis• Created and implemented volunteer recruitment, training programs and venue tours for more than 250 volunteers including the Indianapolis Conv. & Visitors Association’s MusicCrossroads Advanced Resource Team
