Reported on a wide variety of subjects from the six-month anniversary of the Joplin tornado, to a groundbreaking of a smart home for a quadruple amputee to prosecutorial misconduct and much more. • Helped create the Social Media Desk for the show U_News@4. It was an hour-long newscast focused on viewer interaction and viewer generated content. As a social media desk anchor, I asked our viewers questions/their opinions on newsworthy and popular topics via Facebook and Twitter. I worked with the producer to choose topics/questions and then chose viewer comments to read on-air during the show. • Produced a two-and-a-half hour morning show, ten p.m. newscast and 6 p.m. newscast weekly.• Anchored National and World News segments using a touch screen map system.
