Developing standards for recommending additional and continuing existing judgeships and judge positions including analyzing environmental, statistical, operational, and case weight data.Assisting with planning, developing, implementing, and reviewing special projects, statistical programs, court organizations, and court and AO policies and procedures to draft recommendations related to obtaining and retaining judgeship.Drafting impact statements on the effects of caseload changes on court or AO operations for court and/or AO management review.Maintaining the AO's database on Article III judgeship vacancies, nominations, hearings, and confirmations to ensure that it provides complete and accurate information.Keeping abreast of court operations and case processing and management to effectively evaluate and make program recommendations related to judgeships and judge positions.Researching and preparing responses to requests for information related to judgeships and judge positions from judges, senior level staff, high government officials, court personnel, and the public, including coordinating with various AO staff and outside sources.Conducting special studies for and overall support to the mission of JSO.

In my role here, I design and implement specialized program evaluations such as gathering, analysis, and interpretation of datasets. In addition to this, I research best practices and perform statistical analysis and performance reviews of court operations and proceedings. Furthermore, I prepare and document written reports and present data outcomes to senior management. One of my core responsibilities is to conduct policy and legal research on various topics and stay updated with key research methodologies and findings. Moreover, I review grants/contracts, draft fiscal impact statements, and track state legislations and legal memorandums.Some of my key contributions during this tenure include:• Collaborated with bench and court administration to identify and fulfill research and development needs.• Provided exceptional input in gathering, examining, and interpreting data from court systems while acting as a division expert on statistical techniques and information.• Garnered and assessed court data from all areas to demonstrate performance and evaluate merging trends regarding filings, dispositions, and case outcomes.
