Track claim processing for UB and HCFA 1500’s to ensure proper filing, follow-up with all Medicare HMO insurance companies, Paramount, Medicare, and Medicaid regarding denials, appeals, and processing of claims that remain unpaid, review accounts for denials and contact insurance company when necessary to get resolved, retrieve medical records per request, follow-up on accounts per Credit Notes and Full Cycle reports daily

Assist in supervision of 9 employees, monitor billing duties for 37 physicians, oversee billing office for claim submission, voucher retrieval, transmit and retrieve Electronic Data Interchange files, work closely with hospital IT departments on various computer problems and program creation, prepare spreadsheets and tables to monitor daily business financials, track incoming mail, phone representative, assist patients with insurance issues, data entry, bill and follow up with insurance companies, process reviews and appeals for all Commercial insurance companies to get all rejected claims paid, post rejections, input co-pays, and deductibles for commercial insurances, handle patient and insurance refunds, post all Aetna payments, attorney letters and auto insurance requests, perform daily, weekly, and monthly back-ups
