Melissa Davis-Lindsey is the CEO/President of Benefits First, LLC. Since 1996 when Melissa decided to become a licensed insurance producer for the State of Tennessee, she had a vision to develop a process that would communicate benefits, provide the right benefits, and service along with being an asset to the Human Resource departments and to the companies we serve.Today, her vision remains the same by making life easier for Human Resource Directors and their departments and simplifying the communication and enrollment process for their employees and can provide tracking. Melissa is passionate about about providing what is best for her clients and their employees and giving superior customer service support.Melissa's background studies are in business and accounting. Melissa worked with a division of a national company for 17 years. While she was with this company, Melissa set up the first general ledger system, worked with the engineering department, and with her last position being material manager for 7 years.Melissa is married to Steve Lindsey, an administrator in education, and has two wonderful daughters educated with a Master's degree and Bachelor of Science degree. She is faith oriented and has Christian beliefs. Melissa believes in community involvement. Benefits First, LLC is a Partner in Education with one of the Henderson County Schools and other systems. Melissa is a member of First Baptist Church (Lexington), West-Star, Chamber of Commerce (Past President), CASA of Henderson County, United Way, Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center and the National Association of Professional Women.
