My position at the Consulate-General allowed me to undertake a wide variety of tasks and to support and assist the Japanese community residing in and visiting southeast Queensland. In the Cultural Affairs Department I performed such tasks as:- Planning and coordinating public events related to Japanese language and culture including the annual festivities of Japan Week, the Japanese Film Festival, the "Revitalise!"
