I have been fortunate to collaborate closely with two exceptionally skilled and experienced senior designers. Their mentorship and guidance have played a pivotal role in honing my expertise and empowering me to undertake independent projects with confidence. In addition to my design skills, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to final construction. As part of my responsibilities, I manage various aspects of project execution, including meticulously reviewing construction plans and details, coordinating material procurement, scheduling deliveries, and most importantly, ensuring utmost client satisfaction throughout the entirety of the process.

As the lead designer at IDX, I held the primary responsibility of overseeing all design projects from inception to completion, ensuring a seamless process throughout each phase.By thoroughly understanding the clients' requirements, brand identity, objectives, budget, and timeline, I would establish a strong design concept and spearhead the design through 3D modelling. Upon receiving design approval, I was responsible for leading the design team through to development, which included drafting, material research and selection, exploring innovative design solutions, and delivering city and client presentations. To ensure quality and consistency, I oversaw all drafting of plans during tender and construction to identify any errors that deviated from approved design. During construction, I attended site visits and problem solved alongside the project managers.At IDX, I took the initiative to establish and cultivate strong partnerships with suppliers and manufacturers, cultivating a reliable network of resources which greatly facilitated and optimized the design process.The diverse range of projects at IDX provided me with valuable exposure to various fields of design, including but not limited to condominiums, apartment buildings, large-scale commercial offices, retail spaces, exterior remodelling, and restaurants and bars. This broadened my expertise and allowed me to excel in adapting design principles across different contexts and industries.

My role encompassed the coordination, management, and oversight of various projects within the interior design department at Ubisoft. In this capacity, I efficiently synchronized efforts among internal departments, external third-party participants, and the interior design team.During the project kick-off phase, my responsibilities involved establishing clear tasks and objectives, initiating collaboration among all involved parties, managing deliverables, creating and adhering to budgets and schedules, facilitating effective communication channels, and overseeing the project's execution until its closeout.As the intermediary between the interior design team and other departments within Ubisoft, I ensured that all requests and projects were efficiently managed and executed, and most importantly, I prioritized the satisfaction of the Ubisoft teams by ensuring that their needs were met.

Alex Farhoud is an exceptional senior designer and the proud owner of his own successful design company. After graduating, I had the opportunity to work closely with Alex, benefiting from his extensive expertise and years of experience in the industry. Starting out as his assistant, I quickly advanced to the position of Junior Designer, actively contributing to design projects, and eventually managing my own clients and projects. During my time with Alex, I gained the invaluable experience of being hands-on in every phase of a project, from cultivating client relationships, to coordinating with contractors and conducting site visits.Overall, this well-rounded experience equipped me with a well-rounded skill set and the ability to navigate diverse aspects of design and project management very early on in my career.
