With over 20 years of experience in teaching yoga and as a performing artist, I have always been passionate about the natural world and the protection of ecosystems and animals. Currently I am pursuing a Master of Environmental Management from the University of Queensland to learn more about the science behind conservation and human-created climate change. I also have a BA in Theatre from Cornell University and Temple University, and I have been an experienced registered yoga teacher (ERYT) with the Yoga Alliance since 2004. I have created and presented my own yoga and theatre programs, such as MYOGA Freedom, The Amazon Academy, and my solo show PocaHauntUs - Shapeshifting History into HerStory. In recent years I've been exploring stand-up comedy as a way of communicating ecological and spiritual themes. I am always eager to learn new skills, challenge myself, and contribute to positive change.My current part-time work is as assistant teacher, administrative assistant, and co-author at the Dwarf Planet University, an online platform that explores the new-to-us dwarf planets and their impacts on human consciousness and evolution. I assist the founder of this innovative project with creating and delivering courses, managing administrative tasks, and engaging with students and collaborators from around the world.
