Multi media immersive installations, performances, virtual reality pieces, printed three dimensional and two dimensional works. Since 2009, I have been working with bathymetric and other geophysical data sets studying glaciers and the underwater landscapes they shaped. Past processes have included computer vision and generative algorithms to composite and extract these data sets over time revealing otherworldly scenes depicting both deep time and speculative futures. Other projects have included research and data on subjects such as nano-physics, zoology, meteorology, astronomy, and info security. I was recently an artist in residence with The Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry at Carnegie Mellon, and was an artist in residence with Clock Tower at Pioneer Works, Visible Future Labs and Simon’s Center for Geometry and Physics. I have exhibited my multimedia work at spaces such as: Federal Hall, Knockdown Center, Pioneer Works, the Interactive Art Fair, Eyebeam, Issue Project Room, and with the Queens Museum. My work has been featured by Art F City, Creators Project, L Magazine, Art in America, and with publications such as Impose Magazine.

Leading the design and implementation of user experience features on Dewey, an enterprise product that is ‘Ford’s knowledge system.’ Led the design of the steering controls for the next generation of Ford vehicle programs. Design work included: designing the systems and frameworks for steering features and related screen content; working with partners, engineers and stakeholders to ensure a holistic product that was integrated into vehicle program ecosystems; managing design tasks across the team including the sprint and epic planning, demos with prototypes and ensuring goals and benchmarks were achieved.Senior design role in trip planning and productivity experiences implementing the next generation of Ford hardware and software focusing on electric vehicles. Design work included working with researchers and engineers to determine opportunities, feasibility and integration with partner APIs. Deliverables included crafting the mission, user journeys, wire-frames, and flows towards hero screens and prototypes.

Worked in the design systems and frameworks team to create components, guidelines and oversee user interface governance across teams for enterprise applications across mobile and web.Key role in developing component libraries in Figma, including variants and usage guidelines.Senior role in the design of components, interaction behaviors and guides for a rebranding and re-design with product managers and engineers.

Senior role in user experience and interface design for content management systems and experiential interactive experiences, including customer facing sales centers. Deliverables included user journeys, wire-frames, prototypes and hi fidelity product designs.Created design narratives and presentations for interactive experiential installations.Modeled concepts and designs implementing the client’s architecture in three dimensional software.

Oversaw the experience and interface redesign of a large queuing system for a virtual reality attraction space that served thousands of customers daily.Developed ed-tech products including a micro-certification in virtual reality UX. The program became an official licensed vendor by the New York City Department of Education.

arts.codes is a platform focusing on art and design with computational and algorithmic underpinnings. We create emerging media projects from start to finish across variable mediums, including: installation, virtual and augmented reality, as well as frameworks and custom content management systems. http://arts.codes/

As a full time lecturing professor at SUNY Stony Brook I taught emerging media, including: interactive art and design, creative coding, physical computing, hybrid 3D/2D printing, UX and UI for web and app development.
