I am an experienced architect working primarily within the educational sector in Scotland. I work with clients, contractors and design consultants throughout a project's journey from early briefing and design inception, to final construction and building handover. In addition to being a senior architect, I am also a certified Passivhaus Designer. Having an interest in how the built environment can work with the natural environment, enables me to integrate this knowledge within the design process and informs key project outcomes. I’m also interested in ways to improve buildings, to create healthy and comfortable internal spaces.Mental health is also important to me, which encouraged me to become a qualified Mental Health First Aider, to offer support and listen to others without judgement. I am an advocate of challenging the stigma and misperceptions around mental health, and encourage open discussions around wellbeing.
