Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable manager with a true passion for detail. I thrive on numbers, puzzles, and turning chaos into manageable order. I began my career at Dixie Plywood and Lumber in Atlanta, GA as an administrative assistant through a temporary employment agency but shortly after was hired on full time and quickly promoted to sales. After about 7 years with Dixie, my family and I moved to Waco, TX for an opportunity that was presented to my husband. In Waco I joined Meadows Rentals Property Management to bring new rental properties into the mix, manage the rented properties, and keep rental payments and vendor payments current. I dove back into the world of Account Management with Dwyer Service Solutions, a division of the international franchisor, The Dwyer Group. While I loved working with The Dwyer Group's Glass Doctor national accounts, I quickly realized that I excel at collecting receivables and organizing chaos. As a small, relatively new company, we had not focused our efforts on keeping accounts current because we were so intent on growing our existing business and bringing on new clients. I naturally began to clean up some of our older accounts and it turned into a role in which I thrived. Since then, I joined Overhead Door Corporation in a similar capacity but with a much larger portfolio. Over the course of my career I have assumed a broad range of office and client focused responsibilities. I am passionate about providing excellent service and experiences to both external and internal customers through active listening and prompt problem resolution when necessary. I enjoy working for a company that makes every effort every day to adhere to a set of core values and ethics while maintaining a challenging yet positive environment.
