I am a part of the Marketing team at Murray Supply Company in downtown Winston-Salem. The Marketing team works closely with our vendors and our branches to strengthen their relationship, grow business and drive sales. A few of the multiple tasks that the Marketing team handles are brand recognition and consistency, all graphic design needs for the company, promotional products, social media content and event planning. The Marketing team works with vendors to generate marketing funds and then works within those budgets to create the marketing/sales/general promotion opportunities for the company throughout the year. We also produce a yearly product catalog (540 pages) that is designed entirely in-house, cover to cover and includes product images and information, pricing, and vendor ads.

Originally started my position with New South Printing in 2002, which was later bought out by Allegra Printing in 2007. Hired initially for sales, and quickly moved to fill a position in customer service. After a year with the company, job duties changed to include graphic design, paste-up and plate making. Upon merging with Allegra Printing, main job duties returned to customer service and sales, however I also filled in when needed as back up to graphic artist, and helped in the bindery department as needed. Also ran the digital printers and wide format machines.
