As a person who is dedicated to learning, I relish any opportunity to contribute to the development of others or to continue my own education. I hold a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design and Adult Learning, and I strongly believe in the power of effective instruction. It has a unique capacity to inspire achievement and performance at our highest levels, both personally and professionally.I currently work as an Instructional Designer at Jeppesen, where I design and develop training materials for Global Navigation Services. By creating engaging learning opportunities to be delivered either virtually or in person, I help Jeppesen offer the most accurate aeronautical data to customers and I enable employees to grow in their careers. My goal is always to demonstrate measurable business results and to engage learners. Prior to that, I was an Instructional Designer at TransFirst (a leading merchant acquiring company now owned by Total System Services). In addition to designing training content for sales, I developed e-learning modules for both employees and partners. I have also worked as an Instructional Designer for Westwood College in Denver, where I collaborated with faculty and the Curriculum Development team, to improve the quality of courses. Before that, I was an educator for Weld Re-3J Schools, a public school district northeast of Denver. In addition to my rewarding work with children, I contributed to the development of fellow teachers. I helped organize state assessment schedules and coached teachers on regulations for proctoring. Lastly, I acted as a change agent for schools acclimating to unprecedented legislative shifts in teachers’ roles.I always look forward to my work in the learning industry, and am a positive person. Exciting things are happening in this world, offering us new ways to pursue our goals. I hope to be a part of that change!
