As the Programming Coordinator at WRAL, my responsibilities include creating and updating program schedules for WRAL and WRAL2. I then share this information with both internal departments and external entities. In addition, I serve as a backup for the WRAZ Programming Coordinator, who handles FOX50 and MeTV channels. I work collaboratively with the Vice President and General Manager, as well as the Station Manager, to make informed decisions about WRAL programming and various station contracts.My role specifically includes managing children's E/I programming, overseeing the production of on-air notifications, and filing the annual children's programming report that is submitted to the FCC. I'm also responsible for assembling the station's public affairs issues report and submitting it to the FCC.My other duties consist of maintaining local production air schedules, creating operational notes for Master Control and News departments, and managing preemption schedules for both the NBC Network and COZI Network. Additionally, I create content and monitor the WRAL LinkedIn page and collaborate on various station projects alongside the Creative Services department. Show less
