With more than 20 years of experience in PR and marketing, my career in public relations and marketing has spanned the non-profit, government, and private sectors. I joined Stryker, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies, in 2018 as a senior copywriter on the Acute Care Marketing team where I also spent a year as associate manager, copywriting and PR. In August 2022, I joined the HR team as Global Communications Manager. Previously I spent 12 years in the advertising industry as a senior marketing manager at VMLY&R (formerly VML and formerly Biggs|Gilmore) before making the move to Stryker in 2018. I also have worked in marketing and/or PR roles at National Geographic Society, U.S. News & World Report, the National Education Association, the Natural Gas Supply Association, and Peace Corps (HQ).Outside of my traditional job, I am a passionate healthy living/body image advocacy blogger.
