As coordinator for this program—which pairs 1st-3rd graders with teen mentors for reading and enrichment activities—I paired teens with “little buddies,” communicated with families, supervised the weekly program at Sanchez Elementary School, provided administrative support for the in-house program, planned and presented story time and other group activities, and maintained program records and statistics.
