Strategic marketing professional who has excellent operational and leadership skills with a reputation of meeting or exceeding expectations. After spending 15+ years on the agency side of the marketing industry, I have been privileged to diversify my skill-set spanning business strategy, consumer research and all areas of marketing communications (including digital, traditional and non-traditional forms of marketing). Working on both the creative and digital sides of the business I have adapted many times - however, one constant remains with me, understanding the consumers we target, their needs, wants and fears. How can a brand be positioned as the answer to their problem? Can a brand be what consumers are naturally searching for?I don’t rely on my years of experience to answer these questions, I’m a research geek, loving both traditional qualitative research and analytical data. I use that information to create a path for internal teams including detailed personas, customer journey maps and strategic guides to achieve business and marketing objectives. My experience in 20+ industries (targeting markets regionally, nationally and internationally) across B2B and B2C, including most recently focusing on SaaS has allowed me to learn many different forms of execution, to recommend content requirements (text, audio and video), UX and functionality requirements and all forms of advertising (digital and traditional). Although the most exciting work begins when the campaign creation is done – the moment we go to market. Lucky for us, we can follow along and always learn, adjust and even re-route when it’s needed. Creating performance goals and measuring results are must-haves for any initiative big or small. It’s all an opportunity to learn something new for future growth. I have been very lucky to work with extremely talented individuals, to mentor their development. This has provided some of most fulfilling moments in my career.
