Our fund provides financing and offers an international tour to projects that think globally while innovating locally. In partnership with Banco de Chile, ISA Intervial, CORFO, the Regional Government of La Araucanía, Sustenta Pucón, and Andacor, our fund has financed six science-based innovation solutions. In its second edition, we introduced the Glocal Tour, with Germany as the Host Country.I established a network of 17 partner organisations to create a decentralised innovation fund in the regions of La Araucanía, Los Ríos, and Los Lagos, aimed at financing globally-minded solutions that innovate locally. Key partners include the Representation of the State of Bavaria in South America, Universidad de la Frontera, Desafío Levantemos Chile, Climatech Chile, among others.I successfully validated the Glocal model in two editions of Glocal, exceeding the target by 207%, which enabled us to expand to three regions (2023–2024) and explore opportunities in other cities in Latin America.I led a collaboration network of over 70 specialists from across Chile who provided guidance to 30 projects.We received a total of 734 project submissions, demonstrating the initiative’s relevance and reach (29% with prototypes / 39% early-stage customers / 13% with a large customer base).Our communications efforts reached more than 4,500,000 people throughout Chile.
