Organizing, planning, implementing, managing, and coordinating four national meetings. Creating and using budget for each meeting, and working with Finance Department to keep within this budget. Working with National President to determine program of events and setting specifics including setup, audio-visual, and food & beverage for each event. Researching and providing options of sites including hotels, convention centers, and off-site venues. Negotiating and completing contracts with sites and vendors. Coordinating registration, housing, and transportation. Developing a marketing plan for each meeting to increase attendance. Managing on-site activities including assigning staff to events, keeping communications for changes and additions, and implementing emergency procedures if necessary.

Planning and implementing subsections of the meeting including alumni receptions, committee meetings, career program, field trips, guest activities, luncheons, short courses, student reception, teacher program, and VIP functions.Manage most aspects of sponsorship including answering questions, tracking and reporting, mailing of recognition ribbons, gifts, and thank you letters.Create and use planning budgets, communicate with other departments within association, work with facility personnel and local committee during planning and event phases, assist with promotion of meetings, calculate expenses, payments, final balances and coding for accounting, supervise all activities at headquarters hotel, and provide general office duties.
