I am a dedicated healthcare professional with a diverse work history that spans over two decades in various facets of patient care. As a Hospice Education Specialist and Hospice Nurse Practitioner, I am passionate about ensuring compassionate and comprehensive end-of-life care, both for my local community, and for those across the US, whose lives I touch vicariously through education of their hospice team members. Embracing innovation in healthcare delivery, I am well-versed in Remote and Telehealth practices, ensuring accessibility to quality care. My background as a Hospitalist and Intensivist strengthens my ability to navigate the complexities of acute and critical care situations, while my work in Internal Medicine and Walk-in Clinics round out my clinical experience in the outpatient realm. In addition to my clinical roles, I had the privilege of serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Alabama for four years, sharing my knowledge and passion for healthcare with the next generation of Nurse Practitioners. Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in the simple things.
