Profile bio

About Melissa K. Force

Though air and space law has been my domain the past decade, I was originally trained as a litigator, voted to partnership in a large firm, and eventually headed international and domestic claims for a global company. But my affinity for space law existed long before leadership in private or corporate practice and when I was provided the opportunity to specialize with an advanced master’s degree, I devoted a year in Europe to immerse myself in international space law. My current work as general counsel for the spaceport utilizes my past experience as a private litigator, corporate executive, law school professor and aerospace legal consultant and provides new challenges every day that build my skillset even further.

Listed skills include Corporate Law, Contract Negotiation, Civil Litigation, Intellectual Property, and 1 others.
