Responsible for front desk development, as well as aiding the Accounting Department in a high volume Ophthalmology practice. -Skilled at check-in, verifying insurance eligibility, collecting balances and deductibles as well as posting payments.-Assists with scheduling appointments, answering phones and checking patients out.-Able to analyze insurance EOBs for patients, to help answer billing questions.-Proficient with Nextgen, Phreesia and EMA programs.-Responsible for auditing posted payments on an as needed basis in the accounting department. -Responsible for the sales, look and operations of the locations in my area as well as providing support to the entire district.-Analyze KPI and sales/department reporting to create action plans and make necessary adjustments in locations to achieve pos sales goals.-Maintain partnership with business partner.-Recruit, hire, manager, develop and coach team members within my area and district. Constantly optimize the service level and customer service performed by each merchandiser.-Assist the District Manager in reducing turnover/increasing retention.-Regularly visit pos locations, conduct/direct services and prepare and conduct store visit reports and performance evaluations. Initiate corrective actions when needed in agreement with HR business partner and District Manager.-Ensure the execution of the VM standards, and assortment and fixture layout are followed according to guidelines. -Monitor stock quality and quantity; ensure stock taking and order/return processes are conducted correctly.-Ensure corporate values are lived, and the HR procedures/internal regulations/ pos operations guidelines are followed.-Optimizing the use of service hours at each pos location; ensuring merchandisers are utilizing allocated service hours correctly. Responsible for editing and approving time sheets weekly.-Execute new pos setups.-Responsible for managing total operations of pos locations, in District Manager’s absence.

I was hired at Claire's as a Sales Associate in March 2001. In 2003 I was promoted to a Third Key/PT Assistant (after high school graduation, when I became eligible for a key holder position). One year later, in 2004, I was promoted to Assistant Store Manager. I was an acting-Store Manager in 2006 (while my SM was on maternity leave). I left this location in November 2007, when I was promoted to Store Manager at a new location.
