Prior to teaching, I obtained a degree in music business and worked several years in that industry. I went back to get my education degree in 2007 and was hired right after graduating with the Orono School District which I spent my first three years teaching. I graduated with my Masters Degree in Differentiated Instruction in 2015. This is my 10th year teaching in the primary grade levels and I thoroughly enjoy my profession. Previous Work Experience in Business:Marketing executive with years of experience marketing audio and video releases on the digital music services. Particularly interested in working with independent artists on the digital sites to help promote their music to the masses.Specialties: Planning and teaching curriculum, classroom management techniques, incorporating music and movement within the classroom, engaging students in instruction.Marketing, special promotions, project coordination, sales and distribution.
