I am a National Board Certified teacher. This voluntary, advanced certification is only achieved by 3% of USteachers and certifies an exceptionally high level of performance. I completed the Virginia State Teacher Leader certification in 2022 and that designation is reflected on my teaching license. I have created training materials for adults since 2014 and have been working solely in that area for the past four years.I am Google Level 1 and Level 2 certified. I was The Georgetown School Teacher of the Year in 2021/2022. In 2016, I won a competitive grant called "Classrooms of the Future" and was awarded $28,500 to design my own classroom of the future in which to teach. I regularly present professional development at my school, in my district, and at regional conferences.
