Melissa Clements was with the state-wide personal injury law firm of GLP Attorneys from January of 2007 to December of 2021. She was promoted from Communications Coordinator to Communications Director in 2014 and to Director of Marketing, Communications and Business Development in 2020 in response to exceptional company growth and the necessity for additional marketing staff.Melissa managed the marketing department of 8 employees across the state of Washington.Professional responsibilities included creation, implementation and results analysis for all internal and external marketing campaigns. Melissa has extensive online marketing experience and was responsible for the firm website, including active participation in 2 redesigns as well as extensive SEO campaigns. She also oversaw the firms online presence, including the firms social media, rating sites such as Yelp, Avvo and Google+ and online reputation management.Melissa assisted with the development and moving of the Seattle headquarters office and in the opening of 5 new staffed offices in Burlington, Spokane, Kennewick, Wenatchee and Vancouver.Melissa was Instrumental in the branding of the firm including company colors, logo, tagline, website. She served as the “brand stewardess”, to maintain the brand throughout the company internally and externally, including new staff brand training as well as office space development.Melissa created and managed all advertising and professional awards for a legal team of 32 attorneys as well as 2 quarterly newsletters and all printed marketing materials for the firm.Melissa managed all facets of multiple quarterly professional seminars in 17 locations through the state.Melissa coordinated all-staff events for 150 employees including annual holiday party, company picnic, and trimester celebrations.

Melissa supported a 35 person sales team. She created marketing materials such as mailers, invitations and flyers and assisted in the design and creation of tradeshow and convention booth
