With several years in the construction industry, I have discovered that it is where I truly belong. My journey started with a large construction management group that has since been acquired by AECOM on the Cleveland Browns Stadium project (now FirstEnergy Stadium). This hands-on experience led me to the insurance industry, focusing on contract surety and bonding, and gave me valuable insights into what is needed before construction begins and beyond from a risk management perspective.Building connections with various roles within construction companies provided me with a comprehensive understanding of construction business operations. After more than a decade in the insurance industry, I decided to make a transition to have a more active role on the construction side of the business, driven by a desire for direct involvement in the construction process. This move has proved to be deeply rewarding both personally and professionally. I find much joy in wearing my hard hat, working on-site, and contributing to meaningful projects.
