Melissa has completed intermediate level with Royal Academy of Dance at Singapore Ballet Academy before pursuing dance professionally at NAFA and LASALLE where she was trained intensively in other genres Contemporary, Jazz and Hiphop. Involved in numerous cross-disciplinary collaborations, and participated in several International Arts festivals and projects including Australia, China, Russia and South Korea. She is an affiliate member of the The Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD) and Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD). She is also Acrobatic Arts certified (Acrobatic Arts) and a certified Progressing Ballet Technique instructor.Under her coaching, students have won several awards both in local and overseas dance competitions. It is through her pursuit of movement, Melissa finds great fulfillment and joy in exploring, questioning, discovering, learning, creating and sharing.
