With a concentration in the Metropolitan Portland inner marketplace, Melissa developed a client base built on referrals that grew to include subdivisions (new construction) as well as a diversity of property types. She enjoyed the process of telling a story about each listing and connecting buyers with their ideal home environments. Serving as an adjunct creative director for events ranging from intimate dinner parties to weddings and corporate functions for over 300, she continues to be passionate about integrating events into business development and client retention strategies.Some of her clients included Nike, Adidas, Weiden + Kennedy, Sequent (IBM), and the City of Portland. Her favorite events included working on a wedding for a member of the Foo Fighters, facilitating a live broadcast of Mark & Brian's radio show, and the management of a week-long corporate retreat for Ralph Lauren's creative team.
