I am a consulting financial manager, strategic planner, and project manager. My experience includes diverse arts and culture nonprofits, small specialty design companies, independent artists, and entertainment/hospitality businesses. With a background in sculpture, design, and theatrical fabrication, I excel in multi-disciplinary roles, hands-on learning, and solving problems in fast-paced, high-volume environments. In my career, I seek to build community while nurturing growth both inside and outside the work environment.Since 2016, I have been contracted as a financial consultant for several clients in the arts. During 2019 I transitioned from broad operational and communication duties to instead focus on nonprofit accounting, implementing best financial practices to ease fiscal audits and compliance. My work specializes in finding long-term solutions for small and medium sized organizations who need new operational strategies for their programmatic expansion. From March 2020, my skillset was integral in navigating new and arduous government funding applications to secure the most aid possible for our arts and culture community. In addition to internal needs, I continue to think about equitable artist and vendor management, and implementing creative solutions to alleviate financial and administrative burdens for both the organizations and the artists.
