I chose the right field. I love everything about Social Work — the fundamental commitment to easing suffering in others, meeting people where they are without judgment, honoring autonomy and promoting inclusion — that all sounds good to me. Yep. Sign me up. I’ve worked with children and families, college students, adults, and in inpatient and outpatient settings. I’m experienced in treating trauma and anxiety disorders, and endlessly interested in how mental health intersects with physical health, environmental factors, and systems of oppression.
