Consistent with Chicago's values of openness and transparency, I am responsible for receiving, reviewing, prioritizing, accurately searching, and disseminating results of all internal and external electronic discovery information requests for electronically stored data, images, and documents. eDiscovery responsibilities include all requests for City of Chicago electronically stored public records for Freedom of Information Act, investigative, and legal discovery purposes.Identify, define, review, and draft records management policy and processes for electronically stored information in accordance with local and State public records guidelines. I work closely with City departments and the State of Illinois to continually refine and modernize records management standards with the advance of technology and digitally born records.Identify, define, review, and draft public policy relevant to the City of Chicago and DoIT's technology goals, with directed focus on digital equity and inclusion which are consistent with Chicago’s Tech Plan for an open and inclusive City.

- Conduct detailed, comprehensive due diligence, background, and fraud investigations for clientsincluding major multinational financial institutions, federal and municipal government agencies, and private financial-sector clients- Create confidential reports tailored for clients with function driven analysis of pertinent and red-flag information - Extensive knowledge of due diligence and compliance research products, including several premier AML products- Extensive knowledge of public records research, both database and onsite- Specialized knowledge of federal, county, and appellate court structure and legal terminology- Attended annual Association of Certified Fraud Examiners national conference in San Antonio, TX (July, 2014)- Manage a team of researchers to conduct and complete investigations in a deadline driven environment, maintaining high levels of productivity, accuracy, and insight into each investigation- Implement, delegate, and complete team and individual projects - Design and implement both internal company procedure and policy, as well as manage policies for third party vendors and client relationships - Interview candidates, consult on hiring decisions, and train new researchers on multiple databases, research processes, and public records gathering- Responsible on a regular basis for all office functions including transmission of reports, direct contact with clients, and project management

- Assisted in a state funded research project studying the effects of Truth in Sentencing laws in Illinois, specifically focusing on sex offenders and murderers. - Presented specific initial findings of this report at the Midwestern Criminal Justice Association in September, 2008; The final report, “The Impact of Truth-in-Sentencing on Sentences for Murder and Sexual Assault”, is published and available on the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority website. - Research included detailed newspaper searches, bi-variate and multi-variate statistical analysis, format and layout of charts and graphs, and literature review and results writing.

- Provided direct intelligence support to law enforcement and investigators in this federally fundedgovernment task force- Aided intelligence analysts in providing case support and analysis to state, federal, and local agencies in combating drug trafficking, specifically focused on Chicago.- Conducted real time and background investigations using several government and non-government information databases, including LexisNexis Accurint- Worked directly with the Chicago Police Department on three separate tactical operations beginning with the compilation of target profiles, tactical maps, and pertinent information while providing in-house support during police takedowns and arrests.
