I provide outpatient level individual and group outpatient therapy. I work with clients of all ages, youth to elder. Areas of specialty include working with survivors of trauma, LGBTQIA+, anxiety disorders, and substance use recovery. I incorporate facets of DBT, CBT, narrative therapy, mindfulness, art therapy techniques and harm reduction into the clinical work I do.

Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs- specializing in working with LGBTQIA+, women, and survivors of trauma.

Clinician at Latinas y Ninos Program- a residential facility for adult women and housing for their children. Latinas y Ninos addresses the co-occurring issues of substance use disorders and mental illness, while focusing on the unique needs of Latina women in particular. As a Clinician, I work with multidisciplinary team to assist clients in finding necessary resources in the program and in the community, with the goal of client's finding independence and recovery. The program assists clients with reuniting with their children, whenever possible. As a Clinician, I also facilitate therapeutic co-occurring treatment groups related to psychoeducation, coping skills, addiction recovery, and relationships.

Believe in Success is a trauma-informed work readiness program for Domestic Violence survivors. Curriculum for the program is holistic, including classes on professional development, computer literacy, mental health support, mindfulness and creative activities. As an advanced year social work intern, I serve as a facilitator of curriculum and as a case manager with my own case load.

Boston Public Health Commission Recovery Services Bureau- PAATHS program: Providing Access to Addiction Treatment Hope and Support. Through drop-in services and case management, PAATHS serves adults experiencing chronic substance use and addiction, homelessness, and housing instability in finding treatment. Current role as Fill-in Counselor to meet additional needs due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Boston Public Health Commission Recovery Services Bureau- PAATHS program: Providing Access to Addiction Treatment Hope and Support. Through drop-in services and case management, PAATHS serves adults experiencing chronic substance use and addiction, homelessness, and housing instability in finding treatment. Role as MSW student intern through foundation year internship.

Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team in contributing to the bio-psycho-social assessment and treatment of adult psychiatric patients, from admission to discharge.

Works with a multi-disciplinary team providing ongoing case management services to adults with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders, as well as proving outreach, engagement, crisis intervention, and ongoing psycho-social assessment, to clients experiencing homelessness.

Assisted in the de-escalation, crisis intervention, milieu management, group therapy, and everyday functioning of adults in acute inpatient psychiatric setting.

I was a research assistant for the Affective and Cognitive Influences on Decisions research laboratory in the psychology department at the Washington State University campus for two years. I ran participants through various experiments and learn about current trends in research psychology. In addition, I collected and analyzed data to present. In May 2014, I presented a research project at the WSU Psychology Undergraduate Research Symposium. In March 2015, I presented a research project on the effects of anxiety at the WSU Showcase for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (SURCA), winning a second place standing.

Caring for children ages 6-12 with behavioral and emotional difficulties. This job provided me with more knowledge about abnormal psychology and the outcomes of child abuse and neglect. I was responsible for helping to care for the specific daily needs of children with behavioral and emotional disorders.
