I am currently taking some months off from full-time employment to shift more time and focus to my health and well-being. I have a few major goals to accomplish during this chapter. First and foremost, to seek answers to some chronic symptoms through care of health/wellness professionals in order to set onto a path toward feeling holistically better so I can perform at the level I want to be in my career and family life. Second, to strike a balance of time spent caring for my young children and family while fulfilling my professional aspirations. Last but not least, explore a new work chapter that offers a culture that aligns with my key strengths and core values for sense of belonging. I also plan to take classes/seminars, read books, and have meetings with people interested in thought leadership. These will be focused to gain insights on the market and seek advice through my trusted network and make new connections. Needless to say, I am excited and grateful for this chapter including the care and support of people that surround me near and far. Special shout-out to my husband and Co-CEO of our household who suggested this career break to me after watching my well-being spiral throughout 2021/22, as it did for so many others. He specifically said to me, "We're going to invest in making you a healthier, happier you. You are way too important to this family to allow you to sacrifice your well-being and life is too short to wait."
