Global Head of L&D driving learning strategies and solutions cross functionally for multi-billion-dollar Clinical Research Organization (CRO) of 24,000+ US and international employees responsible for delivering 95% of the top-selling biopharmaceuticals on the market today.As leader of a global staff of 80+ learning professionals with 11 direct reports, I oversee all aspects of learning under a centralized structure. Recent key successes include: • Parexel Academy including a restructure and appointing a new global leader, achieving 10-15% YoY revenue growth to a $1M P&L, while also driving brand recognition.• The launch of a new Learning Management System (Cornerstone On Demand) on time and within the $3.2M budget.• Providing leadership to a Learning Governance Board that includes executive stakeholders who provide direct input into the L&D alignment, strategies and priorities.

As a core leader on the Learning & Development team at Parexel, I have led significant strategic transformations that changed both how Parexel managed and delivered training. As such, Learning & Development is considered a critical corporate service that regularly demonstrates measurable impact and return to the business. Specifically my duties include: • Managing a team of Training Business Partners (6 staff located in US) who provide learning consultation and project management support on all functional, technical and professional training needs for the global business units that they are assigned• Leading the Instructional Design Team (12 staff located across Argentina and India) to provide learning design and development support for functional and technical training that is delivered at Parexel. This includes the design of Instructor-Led training, Webinars, eLearnings, Adaptive Learning, Simulations, Gamification, Interactive Job Aids, Video Demonstrations and other self-paced learning products• Meeting or exceed expectations on all key performance indicators for the departments that I manage. Metrics I regularly report on include client satisfaction scores, number of project requests and trends, cost savings, average time to produce training, and reduction of the time billable employees spend in training (a key expectation from executive leadership)• Delivering on a year over year increase of demand for client facing L&D services (20-35% more) in a heavily regulated and highly cost controlled environment without increasing L&D headcount• Serving as project lead for key HR and Legal sponsored learning projects (i.e. Performance Management, Career Frameworks, Anti-Corruption Training, Unauthorized Disclosures)

• Globalized Parexel’s approach to providing Management and Professional Development training by designing, socializing and deploying a worldwide consistent curriculum, which is still in place today • Negotiated global contracts with external L&D vendors to provide unified training programs at all worldwide locations• Performed regular needs assessments with business leaders, HR and L&D to expand and improve learning offerings• Designed internal professional, management and leadership development offerings for customized business needs and other special projects• Facilitated management and leadership development programs for many of Parexel’s global locations

• Designed and deployed internal leadership, management and professional development programs for various parts of the Parexel organization. Programs included but are not limited to: Basic Management Skills, Effective Leadership Skills, Conflict Management, Professional Communication, Time Management, Executive Presentation Skills• Facilitated above listed programs across the US and at many other global locations (i.e. Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, and UK)• Organized all training logics needs for on-site programs (i.e. confirming participants, room coordination, materials production, facilities support)
