Registered Nurse
Current- Assess, recognize, and address patients’ psychological and physical needs by performing a complete physical assessment at the beginning of the shift and frequent reassessments throughout my shift. - Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind by collaborating as part of a professional team with MDs, RNs, CNAs, therapists, spiritual care, and case management. - Performs skilled nursing interventions as appropriate.- Communicate compassionately and effectively, taking into account patient cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds and needs.- Collaborate in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.- Uphold and comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines following hospital and professional policies and procedures. - Delegate and oversee care delivered by CNAs and student RNs.
