Enbridge Gas Distribution 1988 to Oct 2013Administrative Assistant - Operations• provide a full range of proactive and comprehensive assistance and administrative support to multiple managers and Operations Team of Enbridge.• assist in the administration of departmental activities and communication, which supports information flow to and from all levels within the Operations Department• collect, interpret and report on key information to assist leaders in managing department information, deadlines, events, deliverables and decision making • provide support in preparing correspondence, reports and other responses to issues and inquiries from both internal and external sources• ensure Human Resources related activities are coordinated, completed and submitted• input, monitor and reconcile budget entries and make adjustments as necessary• provide a broad range of general administrative support including co-ordinating multiple calendar schedules, meetings, appointments, deadlines, travel arrangements, assist with mail/email management, telephone enquiries, ensuring follow up to requests, completing expenses reports, system work requests, department timekeeping. • provide support in and/or complete a variety of project related work.• assist other Administrative Assistants to ensure coverage for all departments• make certain mandatory safety training is up to date for all field staff; schedule, co-ordinate, meeting year end compliance, keep valid records• track headcount and vacancies to ensure numbers and budget accurate• ensure that internal and external customer complaints are handled in a timely and professional manner • manage office building and yard for facilities ensuring that the department is always functioning, supplies are readily available, tools, sand and gravel and all that field staff need to be productive.
