My name is Melissa. I am a student currently attending University of Houston- Downtown. I’m a senior looking forward to graduating from the College of Health and Social Sciences in May 2025. I am a certified Lifestyle and Wellness Health Coach from Harvard Medical School. I am working on a women’s investment group to help women learn how to achieve their financial goals. Our goal is to empower 30 million families with financial education by 2030. I like to read books about growth mindset, my favorite book is the Holy Bible. I work in multilingual education monitoring students' English language proficiency level. I like teaching them how to read and I learn a lot from them in the process. I enjoy working at the gym around fitness minded people. The best compliment I ever got at work was when I received the Most Valuable Team Player award. I am becoming a better runner. I love strength training. I am a proud member of the Professional Women's Group at Dress For Success Houston.
