Provided customized process analysis and project execution consulting to improve operations, program development, capital strategies, and partnerships for venture funds and entrepreneurial support organizations.Client highlights:• Fund Director for The JumpFund, led finance and compliance, fund administration, and operations management for two venture funds investing women’s capital in women-led growth technology companies.- Financial management, portfolio analysis, return projections, and benchmarking for funds, as well as general partner entities. Participated in strategy development and execution to raise second fund (total AUM $7.8 million).- Built systems for and supported general partners in evaluating 200+ opportunities and 30+ pitches, investment management and portfolio tracking for 20+ deals, and negotiation of exit transactions across various financial instruments.• Executed multiple projects for the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center with key achievements including:- Conceptualized and built a capital strategy decision tool for entrepreneurs by mapping process variables, analyzing 50+ transaction types, and researching 100+ capital providers as part of State of Tennessee funded grant opportunity. - Performed a comprehensive gap analysis project to explore expansion of rural and agricultural technology partnerships, sponsorships, and resource attraction. Senior Manager, Strategy & Innovation. Partnered with senior leaders to identify and evaluate innovative revenue opportunities, provide strategy development, and lead vision care insurance growth initiatives for EyeMed, the fastest-growing vision care benefits company in the US, and contributed to the multi-national team, including Luxottica wholesale and retail divisions to lead the design and execution of initiatives and products to enable growth.• Analyzed and advised senior management on 20+ health, insurtech, and ancillary benefits M&A targets and participated in co-development pilot and acquisition offer negotiations as part of corporate development.• Developed and implemented a process for monthly reporting (using big data analysis tools, financial data visualizations, and dashboards) on a $4 million team working capital budget, achieving 10% cost savings.• Led cross-functional effort to launch a national hearing care product partnership for 25+ million vision care plans, providing EyeMed with partnership fee revenue and marketing access to 60+ million people.

Director, Corporate Strategy, Commercialization Center. Strategized, launched, and managed the corporate Commercialization Center to support a portfolio of spin-out intellectual property and technology products from the parent company into licensing opportunities and startup subsidiaries.• Attracted industry-wide recognition, strategic partnerships, joint venture interests from other Department of Defense contractors, and additional research awards due to launching the Commercialization Center.• Performed detailed opportunity and market analysis of 30+ technology applications/products and led the financial analysis, deal document preparation, and capital strategy for launching two subsidiaries and brokering a licensing deal.• Raised $3.5+ million in local capital from private investors to launch subsidiaries and worked with the entrepreneurial ecosystem and industry partners to attract over $100,000 in awards and grants.• Supported contract negotiation and M&A diligence processes for subsidiary portfolio and parent company.

Ensured program compliance and prepared quarterly and semi-annual productivity reports and program financial analysis for the Ohio Development Services Agency.

• Responsible for financial analysis, limited partner relations, and reporting for three seed and early-stage venture funds, totaling $75.7 million, with portfolio companies in advanced materials and manufacturing, information and data technology, sensors and automation, and healthcare sectors. • Managed fund administration, including capital calls and distributions, cash management, records maintenance, and valuation processes.
