My experiences as a first-generation college grad and the child of two resilient immigrants have profoundly influenced my path and continue to be the driving force behind my professional journey. I discovered my passion for workforce development when I realized I could help my community achieve their dream careers.Currently, I hold the role of Senior Program Success Manager at Merit America, where I supervise a remarkable team of career coaches who support learners' journeys into tech. I approach my role with a philosophy of servant leadership and a people-first mindset, always striving to empower both my team and our learners.Previously, I served as a Career Coach for the Career Experience Opportunities (CEO) program, a pioneering initiative aimed at enhancing career readiness, especially for first-generation and historically marginalized students. My efforts included co-authoring a strategic plan that significantly expanded the program's reach, impacting over 2,500 students annually. In recognition of my expertise, I had the honor of presenting at the 2021 National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE) annual conference, where I shared best practices for inclusive career readiness programming.My academic background includes a Master of Professional Studies in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, complementing my bachelor's degree in Community Health and minors in Global Poverty and U.S. Latinx Studies. Beyond my professional life, I love experimenting with new recipes, indulging in coffee, immersing myself in thrilling novels, and listening to Bad Bunny while completing word searches.With my diverse skill set, extensive experience, and unwavering commitment to community and career development, I remain deeply passionate about making a positive impact in my field.
