It is my personal mission to use my platform as president of the PETE club to:- provide resources for PETE students- facilitate open, honest, and respectful discussions about topics relevant to the PETE curriculum- strengthen the cohesiveness of our community - assist in the professional development of PETE studentsAs president I intend to host bi-weekly meetings for club officers and bi-weekly events open to all club members and in some cases open to the community. I would also like to host casual club-engagement opportunities in addition to bi-weekly meetings and events such as open-invitation study sessions in the library and weekend outings such as hikes. I want club events to be, like any good PE class, engaging, active, and personally relevant. I want to emphasize fostering a positive and productive club culture with a constructive presence in the greater community.

- Collaborates with co-workers to draft rehabilitation plans for athletes based on the details of their injury to assist in their recovery- Generates organizational documents independently so that day to day tasks could be completed efficiently- Communicates directly with athletes as well as across departments via phone and email to share pertinentinformation and organize necessary appointments or meetings- Arranges schedules for employing using computer skills across multiple platforms to optimize work

- Provides physical activity classes and quality physical education lessons for students K-6 at various schools with the objective of helping children of all ages and abilities find more ways to have fun while being physically active - Creates a positive social exercise environment with complex, moderate to vigorous physical activities to assist in developing physically literate children

- Provided outgoing and friendly customer service in both English and Spanish while fulfilling orders- Evaluated unforeseen issues with patience while using problem-solving techniques to resolve them- Oversaw front of house by employing initiative to multitask and ensure that various components of the establishment were functioning properly

- Facilitated a positive learning environment by eliminating distractions to increase academic success - Coordinated study sessions by organizing times and spaces for students to study outside of class- Logged and calculated student hours using various computer programs to track their participation

• Mentored a diverse group of over 30 athletes from ages 7-18 using coaching skills to engage and motivate them to be physically active in creative ways• Mediated delinquency by strategically planning ways to resolve conflict based on individual needs in order to maintain a positive and healthy environment for all athletes• Consulted with peers and superiors by using interpersonal skills to build professional relationships
